MAKE IT PLAIN
Updated: Feb 12, 2021
So many of us go through life thinking that if we just keep waking up every morning then everything will just work itself out. Life really does not work like that and your finances definitely don't work like that. You have to be more intentional when it comes to your money.
Have you ever heard “write the vision, make it plain?” This is important when it comes to your financial goals. Your financial goals are not going to be reached without them being in the forefront each and every day. The day that I was laid off and found out about the $50,000 of debt I knew I had to write the vision and make it plain.
I got out a piece of paper and started writing my short-term, intermediate, and long-term financial goals. This sheet would become my “Dream Sheet” that every audience gets when I come to speak or if you have my books you have it as well. That “Dream Sheet” helped me stay focused on my financial goals.
I could not forget about the vision because it was in my face each and every day. It is the main reason that I was able to pay the debt off that quickly.
Whatever your financial goals are it is imperative that you write them down. That you put them where they can be seen each and every day. Do you want to save more money? Then write it down. Do you want to have enough money to travel every three months? Then write it down.
If you write it down you have a much higher chance of seeing the financial goals become reality!
